T. Potts Productions runs on a deep love of books, film & TV, and, of course, tea.

Founded by film & TV writer Melanie Abrams Fierstein, whose passion for book-to-screen adaptations led her to option 19 New York Times bestselling novels by the age of 25, our goal is to connect authors - from first-time novelists to Pulitzer winners - with studios and producers who care about their work. We option vibrant novels, from eclectic whodunnits to tense dramas, blockbuster thrillers to quirky comedies, and brew them into highbrow studio packages with the author's full participation. Our goal is to ensure that authors feel their work is in safe hands - because it is. We have optioned projects in development with major studios and production companies across the globe.

T. Potts Productions was named after Teddy Potts, our founder's late great Uncle and a brilliant cinematographer, whose dream of owning his own production company fell to the wayside when he stepped up to help raise his nieces.

We hope to make him proud.
