Founded by husband-and-wife Melanie Abrams Fierstein and Matt Fierstein, T. Potts Productions runs on a love of books, film & television, and, of course, tea.

Melanie is a film & TV writer whose passion for books led her to develop 19 bestselling novels for the screen, and Matt is an award-winning editor with a keen eye for marketing international hit stories (Frozen, Moana, Coco, Incredibles 2). Our goal is to connect authors - from first-time novelists to bestsellers - with studios and producers who care about their work. We option vibrant novels, from eclectic whodunnits to tense dramas, blockbuster thrillers to female-forward soaps, and brew them into prestige studio packages with the author's full participation. Our goal is to ensure that authors feel their work is in safe hands - because it is. We have optioned projects in development with major studios and production companies across the globe.

T. Potts Productions was named after Teddy Potts, Melanie's late great Uncle and a brilliant cinematographer, whose dream of owning his own production company fell to the wayside when he stepped up to help raise his nieces.

We hope to make him proud.
